ACC launches new coaching and mentoring membership
After years of planning and preparation, ACC is pleased to announce that we have launched our new coaching and mentoring membership, taking another significant step towards our vision of being a professional home for Christians working in the intersection of wellbeing, spirituality and faith.
This coaching and mentoring membership is intended for individuals who practise as coaches or mentors, regardless of whether they hold accreditation from an approved coaching or mentoring body. It is also open to those who provide informal coaching or mentoring, either occasionally or on a regular basis.
Kathy Spooner, ACC’s CEO, said: “The work of coaches and mentors, as with counsellors and psychotherapists, reflect Jesus’ desire (John 10:10) that people experience life in all its fullness — with abundance, purpose and joy. Many clients, Christian or otherwise, have experienced the transformational impact of working with ACC professionals. We are therefore delighted to be welcoming Christians who work in coaching and mentoring into our membership community – expanding and enriching our ministry. Those seeking a Christian coach, mentor, or coaching supervisor can be assured that all professionals listed on our website have the skills, experience, and professional standards required to provide a safe, supportive, and high-quality service.”
We will be hosting a launch event on 22 April 2026 from 5.45pm where we will be joined by Professor Jonathan Passmore and Sarah Jane Griffiths who are both practising Christians and will draw on how faith, values and Jesus can offer a way to enhance the quality, depth and value of the coaching conversation. We will also share our vision for this membership, and how it benefits coaches/mentors and their clients.
