Faith in Coaching & Mentoring – launch of ACC membership

We are delighted to be hosting this launch event for our coaching and mentoring membership. We will have Professor Jonathan Passmore and Sarah Jane Griffiths join us, who are practising Christians and will draw on how faith, values and Jesus can offer a way to enhance the quality, depth and value of the coaching conversation. We will also share our vision for this membership, and how it benefits coaches/mentors and their clients.

Speakers

Professor Jonathan Passmore  is professor of coaching and behavioural change at Henley Business School, a practice Christian and a globally respected executive coach, author and writer, with 45 books and 150 peer review journal papers. His recent work has focused on AI and the unique role humans bring to coaching .      

Sarah Jane Griffiths is a Professional Certified Coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation and a committed Christian.  She works predominantly for global coaching providers with a digital platform.  For almost 2 decades, SJ worked as a senior sales executive for the largest medical technology company in the world, and it was there she discovered the power of coaching.  SJ enjoys weaving the playful aspects of neuroscience with clients to help make coaching really stick and is currently working towards her MCC credential. sjgriffiths.com

Alison Cansdale is a professionally accredited Senior Practitioner Mentor/Coach (EMCC). She is also a Therapeutic Coach (FTCT) and a Senior Accredited Pastoral Supervisor (APSE), as well as an EMCC accredited Coach supervisor, (ESIA). She has lectured in Christian mentoring and coaching at theological colleges, from certificate to master’s degree level. Her background is as a Speech and Language Therapist. She has an MA in Christian Mentoring (Missiology) and lives in Llanelli, Wales with her husband. They have two adult children.

Sue Iqbal is an accredited Senior Practitioner Coach Mentor/Coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Her experience has been gained from senior leadership in education, across charities and the church sector. She now specialises in leadership and life coaching. Sue has many years' experiences of designing and running coaching training, and her company runs an EMCC Accredited (EQA) Christian Coaching and Mentoring Course. She has also published a book on Authentic Leadership (Golden Threads). She lives in the countryside and enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  

Jennie Fytche is a professionally accredited Senior mentor/coach (EMCC). She is also trained as a wellbeing coach (ILM) and has completed her advanced diploma in pastoral supervision and is working towards accreditated (APSE). She has lectured in pastoral care ministry(NCFE): childrens, family and community ministry, and Christian coaching and mentoring (EQA) across many theological colleges and Christian Charities and organisations, after recieving her MA in Applied Theology to Family, Youth and Community work. Her background is in paediatric and adult nursing. Jennie is also associate trainer with South Yorkshire Chaplaincy and Listening service. Her background is in paediatric and adult nursing. Jennie lives in Lincolnshire, enjoys working creatively, is married with two adult children. You will find her often walking the fenlands listening to Springsteen in her down time! Jennie is a member the Order of the Mustard Seed a new monastic order and an accredited local preacher in the Methodist Church.
