We are a UK charity that provides membership services for individuals and organisations involved in professional counselling/psychotherapy, coaching and mentoring and the ministry of pastoral care. We are an ecumenical organisation, welcoming those from Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox Christian churches and traditions.

We also award Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship in recognition of the contributions that individuals have made towards the work of ACC and the wider world of counselling/psychotherapy and linked professions. They are gifted by ACC towards the individuals, which means they cannot be applied for.
ACC membership
We are a Christian professional counselling and psychotherapy body that works with other professional bodies and stakeholders to enhance the safety of members of the public seeking counselling services. We are committed to reducing the stigma relating to mental health, and to promoting the value of access to counsellors and psychotherapists who identify as Christian. We are delighted to have a new membership for coaches and mentors who are Christian and want to belong to an organisation that values the integration of psychological wellbeing with faith and spirituality for the benefit of people of all faiths and none.
The work of ACC Pastoral Care has a strong emphasis on enabling individuals, churches and organisations to develop good practice.
