My name is Sharon Grant, and I am an Integrative Counsellor working in private practice within a faith-based setting. For over 20 years, I have supported individuals, couples, and families through counselling, pastoral care, and community engagement.
I have been actively involved in many areas of church life, including ministries supporting women, children, and older adults, as well as coordinating community initiatives such as Soup Kitchen and Winter Night Shelter programmes.
My qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (PICT), Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Parks Inner Child Therapy, Prepare and Enrich which is a process used for marriage and pre-marriage counselling. I am also a clinical supervisor. Working within a multicultural and multigenerational church in London has strengthened my commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement.
As a Board Member, I appreciate the opportunity to contribute my experience, support member engagement, and help ensure the organisation remains responsive to the evolving needs of practitioners and the communities we serve.
Outside of my professional role, I am the mother of an adult son and enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending the theatre and cinema, and baking.
