Register Advisory Panel MemberMelinda is a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. She is an Accredited Member of the BACP and a registered member of the ACC.
A former accountant, Melinda brings her experience in governance and professional oversight to the Register Advisory Panel. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the BACP Spirituality Division, contributing to the development and support of spiritually informed practice within the profession.
Melinda runs a full-time private practice in London and Buckinghamshire. Her clinical focus includes complex trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, women’s health, grief, abuse, relationship problems and the psychological demands of Christian ministry.
She serves as a consultant to the Church of England and provides specialist counselling for ordinands, deacons, and priests. She also works across denominations to support ministry leaders, pastors, and their spouses in managing the psychological impact of ministry life. Melinda is also experienced in working with individuals impacted by abuse within church settings
