Building Blocks in Pastoral Care is a 6-session online course for experienced pastoral carers that supports further development of effective pastoral care.
Who is encouraged to join this course?
We welcome individuals who are actively involved in pastoral care ministry and who routinely encounter a wide range of pastoral care needs. You may be looking for support to build upon your existing knowledge/skills in pastoral care and seeking fresh insights to provide effective pastoral care.
It is best suited to experienced pastoral carers and those who have trained with us before. It is designed as follow-on training to ACC’s ‘Foundations in Pastoral Care’. If you have previously joined us for the 10-week Resourcing Pastoral Care Course, this new course option provides additional learning to extend your practice as a pastoral carer. The Foundations course is a supportive option if you have not had the opportunity for any training before.
We would be pleased to hear from you if you wish to enrol on this course having completed alternative pastoral care training or you have lots of practical experience; let us know your background and we can explore if this course would be helpful for you.
