A further update on concerns regarding unexpected payment taken by “theacc.co.uk” or “ai-acc.co.uk”

ACC have been assured in September 2025 by the company formally operating as the “theacc.co.uk” and the “ai-acc.co.uk”, that they have rebranded as Molto in response to our concerns about the number of queries about unexpected payments attributed to ACC relating to “theacc.o.uk”, “ai-acc.co.uk” and a company formerly known as Carflo.

Molto describe themselves as a car care services business. We have been informed that they are working with major banks and payment processors to update their merchant details to map to Molto, so customers can identify and contact them directly. The link to their website is here, and to their support page here.

ACC welcome these changes as they promise to bring clarity for Molto customers who have questions or concerns about payments, as well as reduce the large volume of queries mistakenly directed to us.

An update on concerns regarding unexpected payment taken by “theacc.co.uk” or “ai-acc.co.uk”

29 August 2025

ACC (Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions) continue to receive a number of enquiries regarding payments being debited from personal bank accounts from theacc.co.uk or ai-acc.co.uk. Banks are signposting people with these unexpected payments of about £17, but we want to reassure you that these payments have not been requested or received by us as ACC do not take automatic payments in any of our undertakings and are therefore not responsible for these debits.

The company behind these payments have renamed their main website to www.ai-acc.co.uk. You may wish to contact them for further information and to cancel any subscription that you have mistakenly taken out with them. There is a place on their website to cancel your subscription here and an email address contact@application-confirmation.online.

As with all payments believed to be fraudulent, we would advise that you contact your bank as soon as possible and consider reporting this to Action Fraud online at www.actionfraud.police.uk/.
