ACC affiliated counselling organisations are committed to good practice and work with our code of ethics.
Find a counselling organisation
ACC counselling organisations are managed counselling services that have been set up to serve local communities and/or provide specialist services. Where possible, they may offer counselling on a sliding scale or donation basis. Some offer remote counselling.
Usually once you have made contact with a counselling service, you will be invited for an initial assessment in order to match you with an appropriate counsellor/psychotherapist. Some services have a waiting list which you will be informed of.
For student counsellors in training, there is an option to search for an organisation offering placement.
