A 90-minute practical workshop for Christian coaches and mentors
As coaches and mentors, listening is our craft.
We hold space, notice what's beneath the surface and ask the questions that open things up. But how often do we bring that same quality of attention to God — and invite him into the work itself?
This workshop is for coaches and mentors working in corporate, church (and everything-in-between) settings who want their faith to shape their practice, not sit alongside it. Whether you name God openly in your sessions or work in contexts where faith stays quietly in the background, there's a way to partner with him in every conversation.
Together we'll slow down and practise: exploring how God speaks, praying with Scripture, and bringing a real client situation or practice dilemma before him to listen for his perspective. You'll then reflect in small groups using the skills you already know well — open questions, no fixing, no advising — and experience being coached in your listening to God.
You'll leave with:
No previous experience of listening prayer is needed. Bring a notebook and something from your practice you'd like to bring to God.
