CPD event for: counsellors, pastoral carers, and anyone with a heart for wellbeing
Aims for CPD event
To give an overview of the core theories and resources within The Wellbeing Zone and discussion on how The Wellbeing Zone maybe integrated into counselling and pastoral initiatives.
In November 2025 The Wellbeing Zone book was published in collaboration with the ACC. The Wellbeing Zone invites you into a compassionate space where faith, psychology, and trauma-informed practice meet. Whether used individually or in groups, this practical resource helps you explore the deep connections between wellbeing and our natural survival responses. Drawing on the wisdom within the bible—particularly the rich vision of shalom—and blending it with psychological and counselling insights, The Wellbeing Zone is a tool that makes complex trauma-informed theories accessible and practical. At the heart of the book are the PEACE and PRAY models, designed to nurture self-understanding and flourishing. Perfect for professional counsellors, pastoral carers, and anyone with a heart for wellbeing, The Wellbeing Zone offers not just theory, but pathways for compassionate practice. Whether you are supporting others or seeking your own growth, The Wellbeing Zone resources are an invitation to step into a zone where healing, hope, and wholeness can be discovered.
