A CPD training day to look at the complexity of supervision in the intersectionality of cultures, environments informed by trauma, working with children, young and vulnerable clients and safeguarding.
There will be opportunity to discuss complex or high-risk supervision dilemmas.

Suitable for: This course is designed for senior counsellors, counselling supervisors, pastoral supervisors, coaching supervisors and practice managers.
Trainers
Jill Martin is an integrative trauma-informed systemic family practitioner and clinical supervisor, and a member of BACP and AFT. Her practice focuses on complex and relational trauma, including supporting survivors of sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. She works with children, adults, couples and families navigating trauma, relationship challenges, separation and divorce, co-parenting, addiction, mental health difficulties, and issues of confidence and self-worth.
Jill undertakes neurodivergence assessments and holds Hogrefe certification in ADOS-2 and ADI-R to clinical reliability level. She provides professional supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and allied professionals.
Richard Lahey-James: As a fellow of ACC, Richard is an accredited counsellor and supervisor, and UKCP registered systemic & family psychotherapist. He regularly teaches couple and family therapy skills in various contexts and is a therapist in private practice in south London. His practice is focused on marriage and couple enhancement; resolving communication conflicts; improving sexual intimacy and developing family harmony.
Richard is a culturally lost kiwi having lived most of his life in England but still has family in his native New Zealand. He is married to Michelle; they have four adult children and six grandchildren living in the UK.

This is day one of two. The days can be taken consecutively or separately. Each will have a unique focus while both are looking at ‘Supervision in Complexity’.
*NOTE: Day 2 originally was being held on 18 May, due to unforeseen circumstances this has been moved to 1 June. If you booked on 18 May you will have received an email regarding the change of date.
This training will take place on zoom and will be recorded. A copy of the recording will be sent to all attendees after the training, including those that booked a place and are unable to attend on the actual day.
