Pre-requisite Information: Waverley Abbey College’s Diploma of Higher Education in Counselling (DipHE) or a counselling qualification which enables member status with a UK Professional Membership body (e.g. BACP, ACC). This is usually Level 4 HE and above. Minimum 100 hours supervised clinical practice required. Students are required to be practising counsellors in order to engage in the applied learning of the course.
For those already practising, gain a Level 6 degree in 1–2 years with direct ACC accreditation (SCoPEd Column B) as a graduate outcome.
Course Overview
This programme provides Level 6 training for those who already practice counselling, leading to a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Counselling. It also provides direct accreditation with ACC UK (at SCoPEd Column B) as a graduate outcome.
