Welcome Counselling - Services Manager

Welcome Counselling in Witney, West Oxfordshire, is looking for a part-time (0.2FTE / 7.5 hours per week) Services Manager, to lead their team of counsellors and grow the charity as it seeks to serve the local community by offering low-cost counselling.

The role involves:

  • oversight of the counselling agency (managing enquiries into the service, taking referrals and risk assessments, allocating clients within the team, co-ordinating monthly peer supervision and twice-yearly team CPD, ensuring policies and reviewed and updated, correct storage of notes, and managing their own client case load of up to 2 clients per week).
  • management of the charity (including finances and budget, charity obligations in partnership with the trustees, and seeking to develop and grow the team and charity as a whole).

Applicants should be qualified and registered counsellors, with Christian faith, and a passion to see the charity grow and thrive.

Head of Service – Lighthouse Counselling Trust (LCT)

Lighthouse provides affordable, accessible, high‑quality Christian-based counselling across North Kent, serving people of any or no faith. Founded in 2018 within Eastgate Community Church and established as an independent charity in April 2023, the service uses surpluses and donations to reduce fees for those in need.

A team of 14 counsellors (including three students) delivers client care, CPD and single‑session support for organisations; partnerships include Gravesham Council’s rough‑sleepers initiative and NHS staff programmes.

Newly funded to expand support for young people and families, Lighthouse seeks a part‑time (10–15 hrs) Christian leader to grow community links, oversee quality, finances and records.

Tutor roles at Cornerstone Counselling Services

Cornerstone Counselling Services is recruiting two part‑time tutors to support delivery of CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

  • Lead Tutor: experienced practitioner to design and deliver sessions, assess students and mentor co‑tutors – for more info see here

Both roles: one day per week (Tuesdays) in London, CPCAB Level 4 counselling qualification (420+ hours), teaching experience at Levels 2–3, group facilitation skills and membership of a professional body (e.g. ACC, BACP etc.). Competitive hourly rate.

Hope Counselling Service - Group Supervisor Roles

Hope Counselling Service is a community organisation serving Reading and the surrounding areas.

The Service has an upcoming vacancy for a Group Supervisor for its counsellors. There are currently two groups of four counsellors, with each group meeting for two hours fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Service’s premises on Kings Road, Reading, Berkshire.

The organisation is seeking either one supervisor to cover both groups or two supervisors to cover one group each, starting in September 2026. It is also looking to expand the Service and would be pleased to hear from supervisors who may be interested in a similar role, even if they are not available on Tuesdays.

The rate of pay is £45 per hour, with the possibility of additional one-to-one supervision depending on supervisee demand.

Experienced supervisors, as well as those nearing completion of their supervision training, are encouraged to apply.
