Clinical Supervisor – Silverset Counselling

Silverset Counselling is seeking a qualified Integrative Clinical Supervisor to support our placement trainee counsellors who are working with low-cost clients.

This is not a role for coaches or listening volunteers, but specifically for those with experience supervising student counsellors on placement.

The role will be conducted online. We are looking for someone who is reflective, ethically grounded, and familiar with a range of modalities (e.g., Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, TA, Gestalt, etc.) The ideal candidate will be able to supervise trainees working with clients presenting with a range of issues, from anxiety, low mood, and bereavement to relational difficulties and trauma. The successful applicant should also be able to facilitate our monthly one-hour Student Forum, which offers trainees space for peer support, discussion, and shared learning.

Requirements include:

  • Diploma in Supervision or Level 6+ qualification
  • 1–2+ years of post-qualification counselling experience
  • Accredited member (or working towards accreditation) with the ACC or equivalent PCPB (formally SCoPEd) partners.
  • Confidence in supervising trainees and/or groups
  • Willingness to facilitate monthly Student Forum sessions (1 hr online)

Talkthru - Sessional Counsellor

Talkthru, founded in 1999, is a compassionate charity offering specialist counselling for individuals facing pregnancy-related challenges. Borderline Counselling Services - Sessional Counsellor

Borderline Counselling Services is a charity offering person-centred counselling across the North-West of Cumbria and Scottish borders. They are based in the centre of Carlisle, located five minutes from the train station. They are a small team, comprised of counsellors, volunteer administrators, and trustees. Borderline Counselling Services has been offering support for thirty years and is well known in the region. They offer counselling to individuals affected by a broad range of mental health and emotional issues. Bishop's Adviser in Pastoral Care and Counselling

The acting Bishop of Worcester is looking for a self-employed consultant who will co-ordinate our Diocesan Counselling Service. The service provides vital emotional and psychological help for clergy and their families, lay workers and diocesan employees.

The role of Bishop’s Adviser will also hold a wider brief for the well-being of clergy and is involved in other initiatives which aim to support clergy in their personal and ministerial development, including reflective practice.

The role will be for an equivalent day per week and an annual fee of £8,000 will be paid (quarterly).

Child Separation and Adoption Counsellor (maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified counsellor to make a difference for some of the most marginalised and underprivileged women in our communities.

Choices is looking for a committed and warm counsellor to join our Community Counselling team and be responsible for the Child Separation and Adoption Counselling Service, primarily supporting women facing issues of child separation and adoption through relinquishment or removal.

This role will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of this part of the community counselling service, including sharing management of the volunteers and liaising with referrers in Probation and beyond.

This is a fixed term maternity cover contract for up to one year, starting in August 2025. Please note, this role could be job-shared.
