About Us

ACC is a professional body set up in 1992 to facilitate quality counselling, psychotherapy, pastoral care and related training. It is passionate about maintaining and raising standards of excellence for these public services. Our leaflet Counselling and caring summarises these topics, click here to download.

It acts as a Christian voice for its members in relation to Government, educators and other organisations in related fields in the UK. ACC UK is also strongly linked to other ACCs throughout Europe and the USA.

Pastoral Care UK was launched as part of ACC in 2013 to further the aims of developing training and support for pastoral carers throughout the UK and beyond. PCUK has its own version of the statement of faith which can be accessed here . It has a clear mission and vision and you can find out more about that here: More about Pastoral Care UK

Sending Feedback

We welcome feedback, both what works well and not so well, as an important tool to improve our service.
Anyone who comes into contact with our service and is unhappy or dissatisfied can easily let us know. Our full policy describing the approach to such issues can be found here: Complaints policy

Please use the form below. Any issues raised will be dealt with by the appropriate manager. (If your complaint is about the Director of Operations please address your complaint to the Executive Chair.)
Once your complaint is received we aim to acknowledge it within 7 working days.
We expect to respond to the majority of complaints within 28 working days but if this is not possible we let you know when cases are more complex.

Once ACC has considered your complaint and given a response, the decision is final. We may acknowledge any further correspondence from you but, unless it raises new issues that we consider significant, we will not send further replies.

If you would like to send us a compliment, make a comment or suggest an idea about improving our service please contact us.
