From April 2015, all potential new practicing counsellor/psychotherapist members of ACC must be eligible for and agree to join the ACC Accredited Register as a condition of membership. A minimum of a Level 4 award or Diploma in Higher Education will be required.
To join the Register online you must already be a member of ACC. If you are not already a member then please do so by clicking here and selecting ‘Counsellor member UK’ and completing the necessary information. Once you have done this then Login as a member and click on the ‘The ACC Register’ on the left hand side and complete the form (you will need a scanned file of your highest counselling qualification; a scanned file of your insurance certificate and your last year CPD record unless just qualified. Your registration maybe delayed if these are not uploaded.)
ACC now has a student Register available to those on counselling/psychotherapy courses meeting specified criteria, from the Academic year 2016.
Students on counselling or psychotherapy courses leading to a Level 3 or Level 4 award (or Certificate/Diploma in Higher Education) may join as a member of ACC without being on the Register at this time.
