This is a training resource which has been put together as an aide memoire for counsellors volunteering for the CCSS. It covers briefly issues of self-care and suffering, and then looks at the potential impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of frontline NHS staff, and at bereavement, with thoughts about those that might be especially affected by the situation with COVID-19.
Please see below link, a holistic model of the Window of Tolerance developed from the work of Daniel Siegal and drawing on insight from CWR’s Waverley Integrative Framework which some of you may be familiar with.

We have selected a number of resources which we hope will not overwhelm anyone, but, will be helpful for anyone wanting to explore more about a particular topic that has relevance both to the scheme and counselling in general during this time.
