ACC National Conference 2022

Back in December 2019 when a team of us gathered to plan for the next conference, we had an image of a banqueting table fully laden with choice food and all were invited to come and partake in the feast. It was a symbolic image of what we hoped the conference would offer (aside from good food!) that all from diverse backgrounds would feel invited to come, take what they like and share with others what they have.

This year’s conference will take place at the Hayes Conference Centre from Saturday 22 October to Tuesday 25 October. The theme is drawn from Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (NIV) As an ecumenical body, we want to celebrate the diversity amongst our membership and in the field of counselling and ministry of pastoral care; equally we want to celebrate the unity we have in Christ. We trust the conference will be a vehicle for it.

The conference programme can be viewed here.

We hope you will join us and celebrate what God has done in our individual lives, community lives, in the fields of counselling and pastoral care. We look forward to seeing you in October!
