Pastoral Care UK was launched as part of ACC in 2013.

Its mission is to be a UK Christian resource for individuals, churches and organisations which enables the missional purpose, potential and practice of pastoral care to be developed.

Its vision is to see God's love, expressed in quality relationships and through pastoral care, restoring individual lives, building healing communities and growing disciples of Jesus.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

(John 13:34-5)

Pastoral Care Network

This is arranged with ACC across a UK wide network comprising five English regions plus Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Each part of the network has a local committee which includes a Pastoral Care Representative who is there for the benefit of pastoral care members.

ACC Training Days

Network Representatives organise training days, workshops and networking events.

These events provide opportunities to meet other pastoral carers and to stay informed about local and national resources and other training events including our national conference.

Pastoral Care Partnerships

Pastoral Care UK is always open to work with other Christian caring agencies who are seeking to equip and support the work of pastoral care in both ministry and mission. Sharing resources and ideas, engaging in dialogue, and encouraging one another is part of the servant call of Pastoral Care UK.
